If you like Piña Coladas.......and getting caught in the rain.

One of those things is definitely a little bit of us and it definitely doesn't involve jumping puddles!! It's hard not to love a Piña Colada - a delightfully tropical cocktail with a somehow retro feel to it. With its over the top decadence and tropical flavour profile that lends itself to sipping away at by the beach in the sun, most of us have relegated it firmly to the "holiday treat" category. Perhaps the allure of it is exactly that - it reminds us island getaways. The Piña Colada literally means 'strained pineapple' in Spanish and has it's origins in the tropical paradise of Puerto Rico which, given it's key ingredients of pineapple, coconut and white rum, makes a lot of sense. It's cool, refreshing and over the top - an absolute classic and best of all, really easy to make!
