Merlot takes the centre stage in this beautiful deeply coloured blend with Cabernet Sauvignon. Together they deliver intensely rich aromas of cocoa and bramble fruit backed with subtle nuances of liquorice.

This beautiful wine was aged in French oak barrels which have given this wine great complexity, body and mouthfeel. The tannin structure also adds length, carrying its sumptuous flavours to a rewarding finish.

While your instinct might be to pair this supple red with lamb or beef, it also makes a wonderful accompaniment to roast pork.
